Madness, ownage, and a naked Day [9] chest! Everyone that watched MLG bore witness to these parts. Amongst the horde of spectators were some that were lucky enough to actually be able to experience MLG in the flesh and see it with their own eyes. Most notably, our very own femFxBosslady armed with a Slagpits/femfx sign. FemFxBosslady bravely went to MLG; proudly and steadfastly bearing her team’s battle standard as she watched the mighty Protoss champion, HuK, rise to dominance once again.
FemFx is looking for writers for the News section of the website. This volunteer position requires two submitted articles per week. Articles must be about Team FemFx, SC2, or e-gaming, etc. Please email Admin@fem-fx.com to apply or request more information.
The season 3 lock will go into effect the week of October 10th. Season 4 will begin on the week of October 24th. There are changes coming in Season 4: Each season will now last for approximately two months Grandmaster league placement time will be reduced to one week (from two weeks) to account for the reduced season length.
Deseretnews.com reports that Utah Jazz player Gordon Hayward will be competing in the upcoming IGN Pro League tournament Oct 6 - 9.
"Pro-gamers are really sports stars themselves," he added. "The mental strategy that goes into planning your next move and what your opponent is going to do are skills you need to be successful playing basketball — and playing StarCraft II. If you want to be good, you have to put a lot of time and effort into it, just like with other sports. I've got the best of both worlds."
Hayward has signed a deal to become a spokesman for IGN Pro League.
I have been talking to the heads of Fem-Fx and they want to start doing some weekly casting. Including some of the best games engaged in by our team in the last week!
Patch 1.4.1 went live recently. . . Um, yay! As a protoss player I have learned to not get my hopes up during the so called "balance" patches.
